OK, so I don't have the screenshot to prove it, but a couple of weeks ago on CM3 the world player of the year was announced to be some guy called Andy Felgate. Andy was lucky, really: the kid was 16, Welsh and without a contract, he'd never played a game and had very poor stats.

For a laugh I tried to sign Andy (there's gotta be some prestige having him in the squad, right?) but I was at lowly Swansea and he wouldn't have it. Instead he opted for a big-money move to Newcastle, who offered him about ten-thousand a year.

When I checked up on Andy a year or so later he'd still never played a game but was worth £6.5 million. Lucky boy.
